Same Spirit. New Name.

FSU Credit Union is now Champions First Credit Union.

We are pleased to share exciting news regarding the next chapter of Champions First Credit Union’s history. Champions First Credit Union was founded in 1954 to serve the FSU community, then expanded our field of membership through charter amendments, mergers, and organic growth to now proudly serve more than 34,000 members through ten branches.

So that we may continue our impressive growth trajectory, and after extensive research and careful deliberations, our board of directors and management team made the decision to change our name to Champions First Credit Union!

We feel this new name better communicates that anyone who lives or works in the 18 Northwest Florida counties we serve is eligible for membership, not just those affiliated with Florida State University. And the name Champions First accurately reflects our mission to be our members’ financial champion.
