New Branch Opening January 21st

Please note, we will permanently close our Sharer Road branch on Friday, Jan. 17th at 1pm as we prepare for the opening. Hours of the new branch will be 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday. Stay tuned for details on the grand opening celebration of the building scheduled for February.

“We are very much looking forward to the opportunity to serve our members through this updated branch and operations center,” commented Champions First Credit Union President/CEO Chuck Adcock. “Additionally, we are proud to be contributing to the economic revitalization of the area by updating an existing structure that has been vacant since 2013.”

The project entailed a complete renovation of the existing structure originally built in 1972 and located at 2520 North Monroe. In addition to the member service area of the new branch, the building will also house several administrative departments for a total of more than 40 employees. The 20,000-square foot building will also feature a training room and conference space that will be used for financial literacy community outreach programs. Nearly 40 new trees will be added to the property and the building will include upgrades and lighting to optimize energy efficiency.

Construction on the project began in the spring of 2019 by Sperry & Associates, Inc., and was designed by Barnett Fronczak Barlowe & Shuler Architects – both of which are Tallahassee-based businesses.
