Sharon Snipes, Financial Service Representative II in our Perry, Fla., branch, was honored with the first Champions First Credit Union Champion Award. The Champion Award recognizes a team member who personifies our mission of maximizing members’ financial well-being and strives to be a champion for our credit union and its members.
Sharon, who has been serving our credit union members for more than 20 years, embodies this champion spirit every day. Not only is she consistently one of our highest-producing loan officers, but we regularly receive comments from members who detail how Sharon goes beyond the call of duty to find creative solutions that maximize their financial well-being and truly improve their lives.
Recently, a very satisfied member took the time to write a detailed email to credit union management about his experience with Sharon. While he was only seeking a loan when he reached out to the credit union, after learning more about his situation, Sharon helped him explore refinancing and debt consolidation options, and ultimately reduced his debt significantly, saving him a considerable amount. In his own words he reported:
